1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Sentrup ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including businesses and individuals who register for an account.

2. Description of Service

Sentrup is a SaaS platform that provides AI-powered customer support automation. The Service includes an embeddable chat widget, AI conversation handling, knowledge base management, appointment scheduling workflows, human escalation tools, and analytics. Access is provided on a subscription basis.

3. Accounts and Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it up to date. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Sentrup offers paid subscription plans billed on a monthly or annual basis. Billing is handled by Paddle, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you authorize Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Prices are listed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Transmit spam, malware, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission
• Exceed usage limits defined in your subscription plan

6. Intellectual Property

Sentrup and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including all software, designs, and content. You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service (such as knowledge base documents). By uploading content, you grant Sentrup a limited license to process and store that content solely to provide the Service.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable data protection laws, including obtaining any necessary consents from your end users.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Sentrup does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AI-generated responses are automated and may not always be accurate — you are responsible for reviewing and validating outputs before relying on them.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sentrup shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Sentrup in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account from the settings page. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
